The other day, I was chatting with a few seniors in our community about homeownership, specifically, how to protect your home once it’s finally paid off. It’s such a huge milestone, right? You've put in decades of hard work and sacrifice leading up to that incredible moment when the mortgage is gone. But don't be fooled, there's still some work to do if you want to stay protected. I’ve been hearing more and more stories lately that break my heart, so I'm here to spread the word of property fraud or title theft, something every homeowner (but especially seniors) should know about.

Unfortunately, other north metro counties like Forsyth and Gwinnett don’t have their own links. And if you don’t live in one of these counties, google the name of your county and title fraud notifications to check to see if your county has a place to register there too.
